Licenses and Registrations

Last updated September 11, 2026. Version history

In plain language

This page is the state-by-state record of what Practition Finance does and does not do.

The roles come from code and change through a deploy, not through an admin edit.

Registration numbers and verification dates are maintained by the owner and counsel.

1. The matrix

The state operations table renders below from the same constants the forms and the footer use, so the site cannot show one position and behave another way.

Practition Finance holds no state commercial finance broker license or registration, and none is required for the referral activity it performs in the states it serves: it publishes information, collects an inquiry with consent, and refers it to funding partners, each of which is the licensed partner of record for anything it offers. North Dakota is not served. In California and Missouri, where a license is required to broker, Practition Finance does not broker at all and transfers inquiries to licensed independent partners named at /legal/partners.

If a state changes its requirements, the position here changes with the code that drives the forms, not after it.

2. Standing lines

Practition Finance does not currently offer services to businesses in North Dakota.

Merchant cash advance and other revenue-based financing structures are not offered to businesses in Texas, Virginia, and Connecticut.

3. Lead-generation states

In California and Missouri, Practition Finance does not broker, arrange, or negotiate financing, and performs none of the activities those states define as brokering. Inquiries are transferred to the independent partners listed at /legal/partners.

Disclosures effective September 25, 2026, version 7.
