Privacy Policy
Last updated September 25, 2026. Version history
In plain language
We collect what you enter and basic device data, and we use it to answer your request.
In most states your inquiry is shared with funding partners to arrange financing. In California and Missouri it is transferred to an independent partner for a fixed fee. Both count as a sale or sharing under state privacy law.
You can opt out at /do-not-sell, and Global Privacy Control is honored automatically.
We never share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1. Scope
This policy covers practitionfinance.com, the forms and tools on it, the assistant, and the emails and messages sent from it. The service is US-only and is not directed to anyone under 18.
2. Categories collected
We collect the following categories:
- Contact information: name, business email, phone, and state.
- Business information: entity type, niche, time in operation, and ownership structure answers.
- Financial-band answers: ranges for collections or billings, amount in mind, and payer mix. We never ask for SSNs, bank account numbers, or card numbers.
- Tool inputs: the values you enter into a calculator, and any scenario you email to yourself.
- Device and log data: IP address, user agent, referring page, and timestamps.
- Cookies and analytics: only after you turn analytics on, and chat storage only after you start the chat. See /cookies.
- Communications: emails, form submissions, chat transcripts, and calls, including recordings and transcriptions where disclosed.
- how you interact with our forms, including which fields you focus, when you check the consent box, and how far you scroll, captured to document your consent.
3. Consent records
When you submit a form, we keep a record of that submission as proof of your consent: a copy of the page as it appeared to you with your typed answers masked, an image of the form area showing the consent text and the checked box, the timing of your interactions with the form, whether the consent text was on your screen when you checked the box, your browser and device details, a one-way hash of your IP address, the version of the site and consent language you saw, and a tamper-evident hash linking the record to the ones before it. We keep these records for 5 years. We may share a read-only copy with the partner that received your request, or with legal counsel, to demonstrate that consent was given.
4. Sources
Directly from you, automatically from your device, and from the service providers listed at /legal/sub-processors.
5. Purposes
To answer your request, explain program categories, refer your request to funding partners where you ask us to, send the material you request, operate and secure the site, and meet legal obligations.
6. Sharing and sale
In most states we share what you give us with funding partners so they can evaluate your request, and those partners pay us a referral fee on funded or activated referred accounts. In California and Missouri we transfer your inquiry to independent funding partners for a fixed fee, whether or not you are funded. Both are a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable state laws, and you can opt out using the Do Not Sell or Share link in the footer. We never share your mobile number or text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.
The inquiry means your contact information, business information, and financial-band answers. The partners that receive it are named at /legal/partners.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and there are no advertising pixels on this site. The opt-out form is at /do-not-sell.
7. Categories sold or shared, and why
Every category below is sold or shared with the funding partners that receive your file. Nothing below is sold or shared for advertising.
| Category | What we collect | Why | Sold or shared to | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, business email, phone, state, IP address. | To reach you and route the file. | Funding partners and, in lead-generation states, the independent partner that buys the inquiry. | 5 years, except opt-out status, which is kept at least 10 years. |
| Professional or employment information | Role in the business, license type, whether the owner holds the license. | To describe the operation to an underwriter. | Funding partners. | 5 years. |
| Commercial information | Entity type, niche, time in operation, amount in mind, use of funds, program interest. | To match program categories to the situation. | Funding partners. | 5 years. |
| Financial information | Collections or billings bands, payer mix, existing debt answers. No SSNs, bank account numbers, or card numbers are collected on this site. | To size the request and screen out programs that cannot fit. | Funding partners. | 5 years. |
| Supporting documents | Statements, tax returns, and payer reports you choose to send after a conversation. | To let a funding partner underwrite. | The funding partners you approve. | 5 years, or as long as recordkeeping obligations require on a funded file. |
| Internet or device activity | Pages viewed, referring page, user agent, form and tool events, timestamps. | To operate and secure the site and see which pages get read. | Not sold or shared. Analytics runs only with consent. | 13 months. |
| Public-source business data | Entity registration, licensure status, and business listing details we look up to prepare a file. | To confirm the business exists and is the one described. | Funding partners, as part of the file. | 5 years. |
| Communications | Emails, chat transcripts, and calls, including recordings and transcriptions where disclosed. | To answer you and to keep consent proof. | Not sold. Shared with a partner only where the record supports the file. | Consent documentation 5 years. Opt-out and STOP records at least 10 years. CRM conversations are deleted 24 months after last activity. |
8. How we are compensated
In most states, funding partners pay us a referral fee after a referred account is funded or activated. In California and Missouri we are paid a fixed fee per transferred inquiry, whether or not you are funded. You pay us nothing either way. You are told the total cost, the payment, and the term of any offer in writing by the funding partner before you commit.
9. Related businesses
Practition Finance, Manufactor Finance, and Foody Finance are brands of JayBen, LLC. TactStack, a website and CRM services business, shares that common ownership. We earn revenue from those businesses directly. None is ever a condition of a funding introduction, and declining any of them changes nothing about the funding options you are shown.
10. No patient information
We serve healthcare businesses, not patients. Do not send patient names, records, or any protected health information. Practition Finance is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, and anything you send us is handled as business information under this policy.
11. Calls, texts, and the A2P 10DLC program
When you check the consent box on a form, you give prior express written consent for Practition Finance and the funding partners assigned to your file to contact you at the phone number and email address you entered, including by automated telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, AI-assisted voice, and recurring text message, about commercial financing.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message frequency varies with the stage of your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to stop, and the number is suppressed on receipt.
Our text program is registered under A2P 10DLC with the carriers, and the campaign covers request updates and financing follow-up only.
Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared with anyone for their own marketing, and they are excluded from every partner transfer.
Marketing email carries a working unsubscribe link, the sending entity name, and our physical mailing address, and an unsubscribe is honored within 10 business days. Channel-by-channel controls are at /opt-out and /email-preferences.
12. Analytics and session tools
Google Analytics 4 counts page views and form events. IP addresses are truncated, advertising personalization and Google signals are off, and it loads only after you turn analytics on in the cookie banner. Rejecting the banner, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, means the script is never injected and its cookies are cleared.
Google Search Console reports aggregate search queries and impressions for this site. It sets no cookie on your browser.
Chat with Perry, our AI assistant, loads only when you start it from the chat notice. Starting it saves a chat cookie and browser storage so the conversation follows you between pages, and we store only a yes or no chat choice and its date for up to 12 months. The chat is recorded and stored by our CRM provider, HighLevel. Turn it off any time with the Chat setting in cookie preferences, which removes the chat and what it stored.
We do not run session recording, heat mapping, or advertising pixels. If that ever changes, the tool is named here and gated behind the same consent before it loads.
13. Sub-processors and legal process
Vendors that process data on our behalf are listed at /legal/sub-processors. We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process.
14. How long we keep it
Three tiers, published here, enforced by scheduled jobs and a legal hold when the law requires it. Opt-out status is kept the longest, consent evidence next, and the general record on its own clock.
| Record | How long |
|---|---|
| Opt-out and do-not-contact status: opt-out and deletion requests, do-not-disturb settings and the reason and date they were set, STOP replies, and the internal-only flag and its history | at least 10 years from the date of the opt-out, and never purged before then |
| Consent documentation: consent flags, the consent text shown, the hashed IP address, the timestamp, how the consent was captured, the transcript excerpt, the full call transcript stored on our systems, and any reconsent or consent-review record | 5 years from the date of the record |
| Call audio copied into our own consent-evidence storage, which happens only when the record is flagged for consent review, is marked internal only, or is under a legal hold | 5 years from the date of the record when the copy was made for a consent review, and at least 10 years when it was made for an internal-only flag or a legal hold |
| General lead and inquiry records with hashed identifiers on our systems, excluding the categories above | 5 years after last activity |
| Contact records, conversations, and call recordings held in our CRM platform | deleted 24 months after last activity, then permanently purged by the platform within 2 months, except opt-out status, which is kept at least 10 years, and any copy already held in our own storage under the rows above |
| Cookie preference choices | 12 months |
| Any other operational data | no longer than needed for the purpose it was collected |
Opt-out status and consent evidence are preserved when the general record reaches the end of its window, and are removed only by their own tier. A legal hold pauses deletion when a dispute or legal matter requires it; held records are deleted when the hold ends.
15. Security
Practices are described at /legal/security. No system is completely secure, and we make no representation that it is.
16. Your rights and the timelines
Depending on your state you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or opt out of sale or sharing, and to appeal a decision.
An opt-out of sale or sharing takes effect within 15 business days of the request. An access, correction, or deletion request is confirmed within 10 business days and completed within 45 days, extendable once by 45 days where the law allows, and we tell you if anything must be kept for a legal obligation.
Requests are free, and making one never changes the options you are shown. A denial can be appealed by replying to the confirmation email, and we answer an appeal within 45 days.
California rights under the CCPA and CPRA apply to the extent the law applies to us; the business-to-business exemption expired January 1, 2023. Other state privacy laws apply to the extent they apply to us. Global Privacy Control signals are honored automatically as an opt-out of sale and sharing.
17. How to submit a request
There are two designated methods, plus email:
- The online form at /do-not-sell, which covers opt-out of sale or sharing, access, correction, and deletion.
- The toll-free line at +1 833-605-4900, staffed 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Mountain, Monday through Friday.
- Email contact@practitionfinance.com with the request in the subject line.
- An authorized agent may submit on your behalf with written permission we can verify.
18. Changes and contact
